Assessment Clinic
The
Geriatric Assessment Clinic located at Huntington Hospital provides
an in-depth medical assessment and diagnostic service for seniors
who are experiencing problems in everyday functioning.
Under the physician leadership of a board-certified geriatrician,
a team of experienced professionals conducts a comprehensive evaluation
to identify symptoms that limit an older person’s independence,
including memory loss, medication interaction, incontinence, gait
and balance disorder, and mood or sleep pattern changes.
Seniors can refer themselves or be referred by their personal
physician or caregiver. Medicare and direct payment are accepted.
